We aim to help combat global warming by offsetting the unavoidable CO2 emissions we produce as a company. These emissions are neutralised by supporting renewable energy and tree planting projects in the various local areas.

 

Offsetting Emissions

Our vehicles have the latest Euro 6 engines which come with the legal requirement of Ad-Blue. This is used to help reduce emissions as well as using the Start-Stop Technology around the towns. We offset more than double our emissions for every vehicle in our fleet. By taking positive action now we hope to inspire others to do the same

We know that our fleet and operations can have an ecological impact, which is why we created our own Sustainability Charter, to minimise our effect on the environment. As part of this, we are committed to:

• Evaluating more environmentally efficient vehicles and, where appropriate, introducing them into the business.

• Using proactive logistics management to reduce the amount of dead mileage we travel which also reduces our overall environmental footprint.

 

DRIVER TRAINING

Training our drivers to drive smoothly and with optimum efficiency to minimise fuel consumption, reduce tyre, brake wear and minimise accidents.
